Terms of service

The service

BriefsDaily generates a personalized daily briefing from publicly available web sources, delivered by email and available in a private web archive. It is an individual subscription for personal use; accounts are not shareable.

Billing

The subscription is $18 per month with a 7-day free trial that requires a payment card. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation stops the next charge and your briefs continue to the end of the paid period. We don't do partial-month refunds, but if something broke on our side, write to us and we'll make it right.

What the briefing is — and isn't

Briefs summarise third-party reporting, with sources linked so you can verify anything that matters to a decision. Despite the verification machinery we run, errors are possible; the service is provided “as is” and is not professional, financial, legal or medical advice. When we discover an error in something we told you, we correct it in a subsequent brief.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to access other readers' data, probe or overload the service, resell briefs as a feed, or use the service to violate the rights of the publications we link. Share links you create are for the people you send them to.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on briefing content.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms with notice by email; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of any unused period unless the violation was abusive.
